On the web – Part 2
The last few weeks have been quite eventful. The initial version is now on GitHub (at https://github.com/karlneco/kanji-test-maker). Its not as fully working yet as the ‘go’ version but the skeleton and database parts are set up.
The “main page” looks a bit bare now – but as it will all need to be localized to Japanese there is little point in writing too much at this time.
The we’ll have several types of questions to create and tests to mash them together.
So far things are going along great, Flask has more than enough performance on the little Raspberry Pi 3 that will be the server that my wife can access to do her test generation, and bootstrap is enough of a UI for what this needs.
As Christmas is coming in the next couple of weeks, we’ll probably be slowing down development somewhat with all the holiday goings on, so see you next year!
Merry Christmas and happy Holidays to everyone!
